Privacy policy

Short version: the calculator runs entirely in your browser, and the figures you enter are never sent to us or stored.

The calculator itself

Every calculation on this site happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. The amounts, rates and charges you type are used only to display a result on your screen. They are not transmitted to any server, not logged, and not retained once you close or reload the page. We could not see your figures even if we wanted to.

Cookies

The site sets no first-party tracking cookies of its own. If analytics or advertising are enabled (see below), those third-party services may set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the calculator will continue to work without them.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to count page views and understand which tools are useful. Where used, this collects general, non-identifying information such as page URL, referrer, approximate region and device type. It is not used to identify you personally.

Advertising and third-party vendors

This site may display advertising, including through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, and you can review your choices for third-party vendors at aboutads.info. Advertising partners may collect data as described in their own privacy policies.

Your choices

Because we hold none of your calculation data, there is nothing about your inputs for us to access, correct or delete. For cookies set by advertising or analytics vendors, use your browser controls and the vendors' own opt-out tools.
